By accessing the MLNavigator Research Group website at mlnavigator.com ("Site") or using our software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Site or software.

2. Description of Services

MLNavigator Research Group is a research organization focused on verifiable, offline AI systems. We provide:

  • Website: Working papers, articles, and project information.
  • Software: Desktop applications for local AI model management (including AdapterOS).

Our software is designed for local execution on Apple Silicon Mac computers. We do not operate cloud servers that process your data.

3. License Grant

Website Content

Working papers and articles are provided for personal and educational use. You may reference and cite our work with proper attribution.

Software

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our software on devices you own or control.

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
  • Remove or alter proprietary notices or marks
  • Use the software to develop a competing product

4. Your Responsibilities

  • System Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring your hardware meets minimum requirements.
  • Data Backup: You are responsible for backing up your models, adapters, and data.
  • Model Licensing: You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI models complies with their respective licenses.

5. Intellectual Property

Our Property

MLNavigator Research Group, our logos, website content, and software are our exclusive property protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Your Property

You retain full ownership of AI models you create or fine-tune, adapters you develop, training datasets, and outputs generated from your models. We claim no ownership rights over your work.

6. Research Status

MLNavigator Research Group is a research organization. Software may be provided in pre-release form and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. Do not rely on pre-release software for production workloads or critical applications.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our site and software are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Due to the probabilistic nature of machine learning, AI models may produce unexpected or inaccurate outputs. We make no representations regarding the accuracy or suitability of model outputs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MLNavigator Research Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, models, or profits.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MLNavigator Research Group from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of our services, violation of these Terms, or AI models and outputs you create.

10. Termination

You may terminate this agreement by discontinuing use of our site and uninstalling our software. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms.

Termination does not affect your ownership of models, adapters, or data you created.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Delaware courts for disputes arising from these Terms.
